Paper is something we encounter everywhere in our daily lives. Through this workshop, the artist introduces where paper comes from and uses two key materials—plant fibers and water—to guide students in understanding the relationship between paper and nature.
With a sense of gratitude, students will be led to collect plants within the school campus and participate in the hands-on process of papermaking together. After completing the handmade paper, each student will write or draw a message of thanks to nature on their paper, expressing gratitude for the sustainable materials provided by the environment.
