I am an artist based in Hanoi, Vietnam.In my creativity, traveling plays a very important role as my works are mainlysite specific installation about relationship with actual physical space,experience of local culture and experimentation with local mediums.

The current focusin my work isthe experimentation with Japanese Washipaper resembles a miniature world composed ofmapping architectural landscape constructed withlayers of ink drawings. This world was set in a form of site specificinstallation under the influence of Japanese Washi lantern making and the ideaof a city glowing in the dark.

As a traveler, Inavigate a new city and its facilities by synthesizing its repeated forms,fragmentations, and architectural spaces through memory and observation. I drawthe city in the form of map. The layout of maps generates structures andorientation that I fill with linear details evoking streets, population,traffic, and architectural landmarks.
