 currentlyresides in Miaoli with my beloved cats. I have always loved drawing since I wasa child. After completing my Master’s Degree in Animation Art from Tainan NationalUniversity of the Arts, I continue to work with illustration design andconsider myself as a half-animator. I use watercolor and conté crayon as mymain drawing medium, and my drawing inspirations often come from observingpeople and things around me, or my innermost thoughts. I love to travel and Ilike to bring along my handmade paper dolls to take photos with. When I am not workingon my artwork, I am either watching movies or collecting stories and historiesof ancient houses. In the future, I wish to create humanities related artworkto communicate and inspire people of this land where I grew up on.

Throughthis 10-day solo travel around the island of Taiwan, I allowed myself to experience this world with a more relaxedand casual pace. Throughout the trip, I was able to document all peopleand things I came across, have intimate andhonest conversations with myself, and listen to the innermost voice of my heart.

There isn’t a real purpose for this trip, maybe just to have a breakfrom my current status quo, or possibly in search of something that I neverexpected, or even just to prove how courageous or independent I can be. Fromthis trip, I was able to sing whenever I desired to, scream whenever I feltlike, and even cry whenever I wanted to…
