I had always been interested in reading the world in two different perspectives.
One is the part we see from outside, and the other side is the part which is mostly hidden behind unless you really get to know it well.
To describe the opposite point of view, such as different shape of outward and inward of people thoughts or their emotions, I had approached in various ways.
In the beginning I approached the word “Ambivalence” by using the symbolized materials. Cigarette and candy were the main elements at that time.
Recently I wanted to find the real sincerity and humanity in my art work.
By living and experiencing the life in certain area, I wanted to deliver my feelings toward what I directly felt there. Not only I was willing to deliver the facts form the scene, but also by twisting and using the ambivalences of the objects, I want the viewer to interpret in several ways.
