I developed a series of works with my theme ”Playing with the Earth.

”Originally my art works have focused on “Making the Invisible Visible”. There is a discrepancy between what is assumed as common knowledge by everyone and actual phenomena observed scientifically. Through making the “powers of Earth and Nature” visible, I want to present this discrepancy not only in visual ways, but also in a way people can feel it physically.I have wanted to play with the Earth under the strong sunlight of Kaohsiung. I also would like to create works that is practicable only in this place. This time, I'm sincerely glad to have the opportunity to stay in Taiwan for three months.I was born in Japan in 1971. Now I live in the smallest town which is in Yamanashi Prefecture. I have studied in France sponsored by French government during 1996 – 1998. I finished my Ph.D. at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2003.
