We are interested in investigating social phenomenons, subcultures and culture,the impact of tradition and history, the way our roles in society are constructed within cultural context. Taiwan is geographically one of the most distant places from our home and that distance is a starting point of our investigation.

 

As artists who use photography and written words, we want to create site-specific work that will document (facto-graphically and poetically – in images and words) the process of adapting to the new unfamiliar surrounding. Curiosities related to the cultural and historical background of Kaohsiung area will surprise us while spontaneously exposing ourselves to its people, their habits and sensibilities and relation to the landscape.
