I’m an Illustrator based inHelsinki, Finland. Through a combination of detailed hand drawn line art,watercolours and a dreamy digital colour palette, my work depicts offbeatcharacters set in an adjacent reality. I incorporate elements from traditionalstorytelling, contemporary fashion and anime into my illustrations to create awondrous and melancholic universe. My work has dark and melancholic undertones like classicfairytales, and I like to fit a broader story into one image and invent backstories formy characters.

I grew up in Belgium, and movedback to my native city Helsinki at the age of 15, where I later studied GraphicDesign at Aalto University of Art, Design and Architecture. I started workingas a freelance illustrator and graphic designer shortly after finishing mystudies.

Nature has always been arecurring theme and source of inspiration for my drawings. Lately I’ve taken aparticular interest in botanical and floral elements and patterns in my work,and want to explore themes like science-fiction, witchcraft and jazzy,speculative technology.
