Peng Yi-Hsuan has long seen painting, video recording, and sculpture as the keys for speculating on artistic propositions. His ready-mades inquire about artistic propositions, and dialectically decontexualize the objects, in order to make it possible to render a history of neutral objects in Taiwan, in which new perspectives, applications and practical systems can emerge in the barter economy of objects.
