Dear humans in 2026,

our world is much like yours, only the seas are higher and quieter, and the days warmer. Many flavors that are ordinary to you now only exist in our archives. We are currently investigating how the people of 2026 preserve their memories and cultural identities through taste.

Coming from 2126, we have been deployed to the street markets of Kaohsiung to carry out a critical mission. We are a mobile entity that acts as a living laboratory, a bridge between two centuries, with the hope of safeguarding the way in which flavor and memory will be preserved over the next hundred years. Through the ritual of preservation, we are translating vanishing sensory data into sensitive and memorable specimens.

We invite you to contribute your sensory data to the Global Taste Database. We believe that what you choose to preserve today will matter more than ever in our time. Every scent, every flavor, and every recipe remembered is a map that leads us back home.
