Through her works, Hsiao reflects on her relationship with the surrounding environment, observing the traces of human life on the surface and paying attention to the unusual details of everyday life. In recent years, her creations have often started with her "room," where she spends most of her time. She frequently contemplates the relationship between her body and the environment, showing a keen interest in thoughts, behavioral reflexes, and how to express inner actions in relation to the surroundings. Her works evolve as her thoughts progress.
