Suan Tian Stories is an immersive multimedia storytelling team whose work explores the intersection of culture, identity, and the environment. 

Created by Lillygol Sedaghat and Cory Howell Hamada, our team works in a combination of video, audio, photography, and the written word. 

We believe our collective world-feeling is expressed in the concept Suān Tián Ku Là (酸甜苦辣), and our stories reflect life’s many nuances–our joys and sorrows, lights and darks, ups and downs–to make complex ideas feel accessible and relatable. 

Through visual contrasts of space, texture, and shadow, and narrative blends of the modern and mythic, our work explores how place and culture can change and affect our identity and collective memory.
